Responsible for spearheading  Pollfish’ messaging, positioning, and communication process, Pollfish’ VP of Sales, Anna Pezzulli has been pivotal in growing the company into what it is today.

We recently connected with Anna in order to learn more about her and her experience working with Pollfish and now Prodege.

Getting Her Feet Wet

At the onset of her career, Anna admits that she “didn’t know a thing about market research,” but says that she quickly got invested in it when she realized that she enjoyed learning about all the exciting studies her clients were fielding and that this “gave [her] job purpose.” Anna explains, “I felt obligated to provide our clients with the best experience and offerings. Hence, their important data reflected reliable and trustworthy responses.” 

Later on, Anna says that her most fulfilling career experience came when John Papadakis, Pollfish Founder & CEO, gave her the freedom and support to create a winning communication and sales strategy. “[John] empowered me to become the executive I should be by treating me as the professional I could be.”

Synergy and Teamwork

Anna is passionate about Pollfish’ ability to empower companies to set up, launch, field, and analyze their surveys within a day because, she says that, with this, “Companies no longer have to choose between fast or informed decisions.” Furthermore, she is excited that the two companies have joined forces, explaining that “Prodege recognizes the importance of research technology and can now offer a suite of solutions that match their clients’ timeframe, bandwidth, and budget.” 

Anna believes that ”Hiring and managing people I respect, value, and trust, fortifies the strength of our overall team and offering tenfold.” She understands that each individual brings different strengths, and, in speaking about her own team, which includes Pollfish sales directors Marisa Sarnecki and Stephanie Johnson, she notes “Each of them excels in areas of performance where I am not as strong, I am constantly learning from them, I’m inspired by them, and they both lead by example.”

Fulfilling Her Need to Socialize

Missing the social interaction that Covid has taken away, Anna now seeks it out in the form of company get-togethers. As for her time outside of work, Anna says that she looks to a Marvel movie with her husband, reading Harry Potter to her six-year-old, or eating chips and queso with her three-year-old for her “serotonin boost.”
