“Ba da da da da they’re lovin’ it!”

The Prodege team surveyed 1,500 verified purchasers from our shopper panel (250 purchasers per restaurant) and found that regardless of their first choice of QSR, all of our consumers cited ‘the golden arches’ (McDonald’s) as their second or third choice of restaurant.

When it came to the time of day our consumers planned to eat out, mid-day and evening were cited as the most popular times for consumers to get their fix with the exception of Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr., where the morning was indicated as the most popular time.

Keeping their distance, on-the-go.

At each QSR, at least 70% of customers plan to use the drive-thru when placing their order as opposed to in-person dining.

When considering what items to order from the menu, less than half (25-35%) ordered both food and beverage, while over 50% ordered just food at each location, except McDonald’s where the percentages were flipped; almost 50% ordered food and beverage while only 20% ordered just food.

Show me the money!

When asked how much they usually spend at these popular joints, answers varied with each restaurant, with popular chicken spots leading the way in customer spend.
